Penguin In a Keychain Grow in Water Toy

This is a cute grow in water penguin inside a keychain! Fill the plastic keychain with water and watch it grow to full size in 24 to 72 hours.  Keychain container is 4 inches tall and 2 inches across. It has a plastic snap hook on top.

 Grow in water toys are made of special super absorbent polymers similar to the non-toxic chemicals used in baby diapers.

To conduct some fun science experiments, change a variable when you are growing your critters, ie.

• tap water vs. distilled water
• what happens if you use salt water
• water temperature
• how long does the water take to evaporate – do temperature and humidity affect it?
